TEMPLE HAUS

Ypsilanti, Michigan

the idea

Temple Haus is a living studio inside my home: part diary, part publishing project, part philosophy of paying attention.
It’s where I paint, write, document, and make a life.
Everything here, (the work, the mess, the laughter, the small routines) belongs to the same practice.

the space

One room for painting.
One desk for writing.
Light through the blinds.
A few things always in rotation: coffee, notebooks, shells, flowers on their way out.
This is my temple — a home that changes with the work.

the work

current focus
Ugly Pretty — a book of fragments on beauty, mess, and hope
→ new paintings and small prints — winter 2025
→ occasional gatherings and collaborations announced on Instagram

the philosophy

Show up.
Notice.
Make something from what’s left.
Call it art.
